We have many different youth programs that reach the youth in our community. We have the Ellis Grist Youth Center, Youth Group, Awana, Vacation Bible School (VBS), Music Ministry, Theater Ministry and others.

Ellis Grist Youth Center (EG): Austinburg recently renovated the old Young Hickory Baptist Church and named it after Ellis Grist. Awana: We pair with some other local churches and offer the Awana program to school aged children. We only run the Awana program through the school year so that we don't interfere with any summer or vacation plans. To learn more about Awana, visit the Awana website:

VBS: We are very proud of our Vacation Bible School (VBS) ministry. Each summer for one week in July, we have VBS each night and reach any school aged kid. For a small church, we are blessed to have high numbers of children attend. We usually average anywhere between 40 children the first night to 80 or 90 on the last night.

We also frequently gear our Sunday evening service to accommodate children's interests. Examples include video games, board games, and dart guns.
